This blog is meant to keep a running record of commentary on a wide range of topics, mostly dealing with politics but also with related subjects of personal interest to me like philosophy, history, and literature.
The picture in the banner is an artist’s representation of New Harmony, the utopian community organized by Robert Owen in southwestern Indiana in 1825. The experiment lasted for only 4 years. Hopefully this will not be a precedent for the lifetime of this blog.
